Terms & Conditions of DG Medical Aesthetics and Skin Ltd
Last Updated: 13 November 2025

1. Introduction & Definitions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by DG Medical Aesthetics and Skin Ltd, a CQC-registered company in England & Wales (Company Number: 13969446), with its registered address at 2 Oakmeadow Close, Yardley, Birmingham, B26 1EE ("we", "us", "our", "the Clinic").

"You", "your", "the patient" refers to any individual who books an appointment or undergoes a consultation or treatment at our Clinic. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Consultations & Patient Suitability

  • Mandatory Consultation: All new patients require a full consultation before any treatment to assess suitability and discuss medical history, expectations, and risks.
  • Age Policy: We operate a strict "Over 21" policy. We do not offer consultations or treatments to any person under the age of 21. We reserve the right to ask for photographic identification.
  • Cooling-off Period: In line with CQC best practice, we operate a mandatory "Cooling-off" period. No treatment will be delivered on the same day as your initial consultation to ensure you have time to make an unhurried, informed decision.
  • Right to Refuse Treatment: We reserve the right to refuse treatment if it is deemed medically unsuitable, unsafe, or not in the patient's best medical interest.

3. Patient Obligations

  • Accurate Medical History: You must provide a full, accurate, and truthful medical history during your consultation. We will not be held liable for any adverse effects resulting from a failure to disclose relevant information.
  • Clinical Photography: Clinical photography is a mandatory part of your clinical record. Photos will be taken for medical records and insurance purposes. We will never use these for marketing without your separate, explicit written consent.
  • Consent: You will be required to sign a clinical consent form before any treatment.
  • Update in Health: You must inform us of any changes to your health or medications before subsequent treatments.

4. Booking, Deposits & Cancellations

  • Booking Fee (Deposit): To secure an appointment, a non-refundable booking fee (deposit) of 10-20% is required. This is deducted from your final treatment cost.
  • Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule without penalty.
  • Late Cancellations: If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit will be forfeited.
  • "No-Show" Policy: If you fail to attend without notice, you will forfeit your deposit. All future bookings will require payment in full at the time of booking.

5. Payments

Full payment for treatments is due at the time of your appointment. We accept payments via Stripe, Klarna, PayPal, Clearpay, and most major credit/debit cards. By choosing a "Buy Now, Pay Later" service, you are entering into a separate financial agreement with that third-party provider.

6. Refunds & Packages

  • Refunds on Services: We do not offer refunds on treatments already performed. Medical results vary naturally from person to person and are not guaranteed.
  • Refunds on Packages: All pre-paid courses of treatment are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Prescribed Medicines: Medicines prescribed specifically for you (e.g., Botulinum Toxin) cannot be returned, transferred, or refunded once the prescription is issued.

7. Liability & Safety

We will not be held liable for any adverse reactions that, while rare, are a known risk of a medical procedure. The Clinic remains a dedicated clinical environment; for safety reasons, children are not permitted in the treatment rooms. Patients are entitled to a chaperone (who must be over 18 years of age); please inform us at the time of booking if you require one.

8. Complaints

We are committed to providing the highest standard of CQC-registered care. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us at contact@dgaesthetics.uk to receive a copy of our formal complaints procedure.

9. General

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
